This event blew my mind. Several problems (I don't think the promoters give a shit though) with the whole event. The dead grass and dirt, just water the damn thing! I don't think they will as water costs money and cuts down on the revenue generated by water, beer and soda sales. Not like they give a shit about anyone's health as long as they come back and spend more $$$ at the next event. Instead of hiring so many security guards (some of whom are dickheads and deserved the severe beatings I saw them receive (with the exception of a broken collar bone)) maybe they should have some one clean up the trash so there aren't as many fires? I didn't take pictures of the beatings as the photos would have probably been used as evidence against the concert goers. I did see a security guard punch someone in the face for what appeared to me for no reason at all. I wish I had a picture of that, I would have sent it to every news crew in the USA. The fires (clean the trash, nothing to burn) were the main reason why the security guards were moving through the crowds in large groups. Another thing the security monkeys didn't seem to figure out, if you walk through the mosh pit, expect to get grilled! I noticed that after the security and police were literally driven out by the crowds that it was much more peaceful without those dicks around. On the plus side, there were many great bands there and Black Sabbath with the original line-up. And to wrap up my rant, what the hell is up with the no camera policy? The vendors were selling cameras inside and security was confiscating them from the patrons.
