WAR played at the Key Club and I didn't plan on missing
them. I grew up listening to some of their songs and looked forward to watching
them play live. I missed the first band while wandering around the strip and
dropping by the other clubs for a minute or two. The sound quality for this show
was probably the best I have ever heard (I have been to about 200 concerts in
the last year alone). Every instrument was crisp and balanced with
the others. The stage presence was great, punctuated by the comic personality of
the lead singer making this an overall great show. The band was cool to talk to
in person and hang out with after the show and it was great hearing about some
of the events in the past (some before I was even born). I can't wait to see
them again.
